In the during the 80s and 90s I was involved with several organizations in Northern Indiana including the Little River Railroad, Three Rivers Railway Heritage Council, and the Topeka Historical Society. Ending up as the Curator of the National New York Central Railroad Museum for the City of Elkhart IN.
