I started In the railroad preservation at the age of 14 in 1974 with the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society.  In the during the 80s and 90s I was involved with several organizations in Northern Indiana including the Little River Railroad, Three Rivers Railway Heritage Council, and the Topeka Historical Society.  Ending up as the Curator of the National New York Central Railroad Museum for the City of Elkhart IN.

I am now retired from driving carriages in St Augustine and founded FLAIRR

Hello, my name is Kyle Wayne Cochran, I am happy to be apart of FLAIRR and bring some skills that will help the museum into the future. I am a certified welder for Mig and Tig welding and have two years of diesel systems experience while also have a CDL A. Although I work full-time as a trucker for Swift Transportation, I take time off when possible to assist the museum in it's efforts for preserving railroad equipment.
