FEC BAHAMIAN
Florida East Coast Bahamian
Our latest acquisition is the Florida East Coast 10 roomette 6 bedroom Pullman Sleeper, the Bahamian. Built in 1949 by P-S in Lot #6809 to Plan #4140B as FEC 10RM-6DB sleeper BAHAMIAN, 1 of 7 FEC 10-6 sleepers built in Lot #6809, 7 of 42 total built in that Lot for the ACL pool. All 7 of the FEC cars were sold in 1967 to CN, BAHAMIAN as CN #2139 DEEP RIVER, later VIA #213
Auto-train 3
RPCX 730027 auto-train#3
FLAIRR acquired auto-train#3 June 12, 2023 from the Fillmore and Western Railway. Built in October of 1959 by Canadian Car and Foundry for the Canadian National Railway as an automobile carrying boxcar. It was sold to the auto-train corporation in 1971 serving as an automobile carrier for 5 years on the original auto-train. In 1976 it was converted into a caboose for the Louisville section of the auto-train.

The Port Orange Railway Experience
FLAIRR and the Port Orange Railway Society were founded at bout the same time and soon found we were working on similar projects at the same time. Working together just came naturally. We decided to create a partnership and officially work together.
